2019 saw me really make an honest attempt at prototyping, molding, and casting with resin. I had previously limited myself to wax only as a function of prototyping figures for vinyl production...but this process is a little bit different. Very quirky.

Overall, I really like resin. I think I'm probably working very hard to do some things the very hard way, but on the other hand, it's incredibly gratifying to have an idea in the morning and end up with something tangible/repeatable by that same night (if everything goes right).

In many ways, Misato is my everything. I may or may not have bigger plans for this little bootleg cutie, but in the meantime, I've decided to share a few imperfect pieces from this initial prototyping jaunt...I loved spending this time with her and I'm pretty sure you'll love spending time with her too.
