2019 saw me really make an honest attempt at prototyping, molding, and casting with resin. I had previously limited myself to wax only as a function of prototyping figures for vinyl production...but this process is a little bit different. Very quirky.

Overall, I really like resin. I think I'm probably working very hard to do some things the very hard way, but on the other hand, it's incredibly gratifying to have an idea in the morning and end up with something tangible/repeatable by that same night (if everything goes right).

These dudes are an (obvious) bootleg homage to a really great Bandai gashapon version of The Mountain. In one version he's on the straight and narrow...in the other, he's just slightly more fly.
